Prime Minister Butkevičius together with Latvian President Andris Berzins traveled from Riga to Sochi with Lithuanian and Latvian delegations of athletes.
Lithuanian President Dalia Grybauskaite decided not to go to Sochi because of human rights violations in Russia and Moscow's pressure on its neighbors. The prime minister has said he is going to Sochi in support of the athletes. He will return to Lithuania on Monday.
